VAMPIRE FACIAL®

Rejuvenate your face with a non-surgical cosmetic procedure using growth factors, combined with micro-needling, to stimulate the skin’s healing mechanisms. The Vampire Facial® utilizes Platelet Rich Plasma from your blood which is rich in growth factors that lead to a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles, increased elasticity and firmness and smoother texture. Results can often be seen within 2-3 weeks of treatment.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Natural growth factors from Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) are known for their healing properties. When applied over micro-needled areas, the platelets are able to increase collagen and stimulate the growth of healthy cells which aides in the treatment of wrinkles, scars and uneven skin texture. The process results in a brighter, younger complexion.

THE VAMPIRE FACIAL® PROCESS

Dr. Campbell will begin the treatment process with a blood draw from the patient’s arm. Growth factors are isolated from the patient’s blood using an FDA approved centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma. Next, Dr. Campbell uses a micro-needling device to create multiple micro-punctures to help the growth factors penetrate into the skin. This process also causes the micro-punctures to tighten the skin by increasing the production of collagen. The growth factors are then reapplied onto the micro-needled areas. To complete the treatment, Altar™, a post-treatment topical, is applied to enhance the effects of the previous steps. The patient is highly encouraged to continue application twice daily to accelerate healing.

Results from this procedure are noticed within 2-3 weeks. The Vampire Facial® has been used to restore skin color, decrease wrinkles, reduce the appearance of scars and smooth skin texture.
